United Gambians Association Youth cultural night was held on August 1, 2025, at 4811 White plains Rd, Bronx NY 10470. The event was organized by the youth coordinator Mrs. Kodou Gaye and the UGA youth leadership team. The purpose of the event was to encourage more networking among the UGA youths and children’s in the USA, especially those living in New York City. The night was marked by performance and dances from various African cultures especially Gambia and other countries. The youths got to network among them selves and had fun throughout the night. West African cultural food and drinks were served as well. Some of the UGA executive members and other members were in attendance to support the youth event. Some parents also came later to help out in order supervised the process in order to see that the event was successful. The event was so successful that UGA plans to organize the event annually. UGA believes that, the kids are the future of any community, therefore, it is important for our children’s to network and know each other. This will ensure that the great work and achievements of UGA will be continued by our children’s in the future.

If you or your kids couldn’t make it this year, don’t miss out next year. Next year’s event will be bigger, better and more fun activities will be planned for the night.
